Meetings

Regular meetings are held quarterly in January, April, July, and October. An annual conference and biannual election of officers are held at the April meeting. Meetings provide members with the opportunity to network and socialize. In addition, CEU’s and PDH’s can be earned by attending the workshops held during the meetings. A nominal fee is charged for these events.

Employee Assistance Professionals

EA professionals are increasingly being called upon to advise their organizations and human resource departments on various issues. These issues include FMLA, SAP services, risk management, critical incidence/stress management, work/life, conflict management, disability management, wellness, OSHA/safety, drug free workplace, threat assessment, workplace violence, welfare-to-work, and outplacement and retirement.
